Cincinnati, OH December 4, 2009 - Government Acquisitions, Inc., a proven provider of optimized IT infrastructure solutions and a trusted advisor to the federal government, is pleased to announce the BPA award from the U.S. Department of Agriculture International Technology Services (ITS) for IT products including desktops, laptops, ruggedized laptops, workstations, mobile workstations, and services.

Government Acquisitions in partnership with HP, Panasonic, Getac and Synnex will provide the USDA with IT products for the five-year, $360 million total contract award. Government Acquisitions has had a long history with USDA dating back to 2003. Government Acquisitions has been the major provider to USDA under the Common Computing Environment (CCE) contracts in 2003 the three-year IT BPA's awarded in 2006. The new contract has been expanded to include a wider scope of products and configurations that can be utilized by all USDA agencies.
