Government Acquisitions Named One of Top Federal IT Contractors on INPUT Federal IT 150
Cincinnati, OH May 11, 2005 – Government Acquisitions has been named to the 2005 INPUT Federal IT 150, a ranking of the top 150 federal information technology(IT) contractors based on fiscal year 2004 (FY04) federal IT spending as defined by INPUT, the quantifiable leader in government market intelligence.
"Competition for federal IT business can be fierce," said Kevin Plexico, executive vice president, information services at INPUT. "Being named to the INPUT Federal IT 150 list means out-bidding more than 98.5 percent of the companies that are vying for these contracts. Having fast access to the right information needed to win federal IT contracts makes all the difference. INPUT congratulates the members of this elite community on their success."
To determine the INPUT Federal IT 150, INPUT examines a sub-set of the Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS) data based on contract actions reported under IT-related Product / Service Codes (PSCs). INPUT includes those PSCs that it deems to be IT-related. In order to ensure that the data and rankings are as accurate as possible, INPUT invests over 10,000 hours of analyst time annually to structure, clean, and analyze the FPDS data. INPUT’s Federal Vendor Profiles, Federal Opportunities, Federal Market Analysis, and Federal Task Orders subscription programs provide supporting data and analysis.
