 Braulio M. Castillo
Braulio Castillo is the Vice President of Strategic Programs for Government Acquisitions, Inc. Mr. Castillo is responsible for the sales and operations management of the Washington , DC area office which specializes in delivering enterprise wide IT solutions to all Federal and State and Local government agencies.
Prior to building the Washington , DC Practice for Gov Acq, Mr. Castillo was the District Sales & Systems Manager for the Federal Civilian Agencies District within Sun Microsystems. He managed the direct selling and systems support efforts inside of Sun’s over $2 Billion government marketplace and the company’s fastest growing business area. He led Sun’s double-digit growth inside of the Federal and State & Local government marketplace and earned Sun’s prestigious Sunrise Club Award for his efforts. Mr. Castillo was also named District Manger of the Year in FY ’02.
Prior to joining Sun, Mr. Castillo was the Manager, Strategic Accounts for Gartner Group, the leading authority for providing cutting edge advice and targeted insight to support competitive decision-making across the entire information technology (IT) spectrum. He oversaw Gartner’s strategic relationships with major worldwide federal government clients. His primary focus was on the Intelligence and Department of Defense community.
Mr. Castillo also spent over eleven years at Xerox Corporation, most recently as the General Manager, Business Services Division of the corporation’s Federal Industry Solutions Unit’s Strategic Sourcing and Advanced Solutions segment. Mr. Castillo holds the unique distinction of earning President’s Club level performance in all positions that he held at Xerox.
Mr. Castillo received a Bachelor’s Degree, with honors, in Business Administration and Finance from the University of San Diego , and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas . He is also a graduate of the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business International Business Management Executive Program.
Mr. Castillo is a member of the National Society of Hispanic MBA’s (NSHMBA) and sat on the Board of Directors for the MGM Grand Hotel’s "Roar Yes to Success" Program. He also serves as a mentor for Luther Jackson Middle School ’s "Generaciones" Hispanic role modeling program for disadvantaged youths in the Fairfax County ( Virginia ) School District and volunteers as an instructor in McLean Bible Church ’s Kids Quest program.
Mr. Castillo resides in Potomac Falls , Virginia with his wife, Michelle, their son, Nicholas, and their daughter, Victoria.
