Gateway Names Partner of the Year

Apr 26, 2000 -- CINCINNATI, Ohio -- Systems Integrator Government Acquisitions was named Gateway Inc.'s Public-Sector Partner of the Year for 1999. The Cincinnati-based integrator distinguished itself by acting as a "seamless extension of the Gateway sales team," said Jay Lambke, Vice President of Government Sales for Gateway.

"We were the first company to receive a GSA letter of supply from Gateway in 1996," said Government Acquisitions, President Dennis Obial. "Gateway's expanding mobile and server product lines have allowed Government Acquisitions to leverage Gateway systems as the basis for delivering end-to-end solutions."

Lambke said Gateway is committed to cultivating a set of true value-added partners and investing in those relationships. "Gateway's integrators listen to customers and deliver comprehensive IT support," he said. "This includes designing the architecture, selecting the right products, performing integration and providing excellent customer support."
