Dennis Obial, President/CEO Dennis Obial's vision and management have made Government Acquisitions a first class technology solutions provider and industry leader. Mr. Obial founded Government Acquisitions in 1989 to meet the needs of Public Sector agencies. Over the years, his vision has persevered the many changes that are inherent in the IT industry. His vision has carried the company to an average growth rate of more than
30% per year since the inception of the company.
Prior to founding Government Acquisitions, Mr. Obial held positions at both Proctor
& Gamble and Bristol-Myers/The Drackett Company. He
studied Chemistry at the University of Cincinnati and attended business executive management courses at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
Jay Lambke, Executive Vice President Jay Lambke brings over 16 years experience leading organizations that have successfully serviced the specialized IT needs of the Federal, State, Local, and Education Markets. Mr. Lambke leads Government Acquisitions' sales and growth initiatives. As Executive Vice President, Mr. Lambke is responsible for architecting a world class customer experience built upon a foundation of developing superior solutions to our customers biggest technological challenges.
Prior to joining Government Acquisitions, Mr. Lambke was President of Prism Point Technologies LLC, President of GovConnection, Inc., Vice President and General Manager of Institutional Markets at Gateway Inc., Vice President and General Manager of Ingram-Micro's Government and Education Division.
Ashley Lehman, Senior Vice President of Business Development Ashley
Lehman is a 16 year veteran of Government Acquisitions. Ms. Lehman
is the Senior Vice President of Business Development, focusing on
large program and contract business, overseeing Business
Development, Bids and Proposals, Contracts, Post Contract Marketing
and Project Management. In her previous capacity, Ms. Lehman was
the Vice President of Sales, managing the sales and customer
service organizations for Government Acquisitions for 10 years.
Prior to joining Government Acquisitions, Ms. Lehman owned a
marketing research firm focused on qualitative research in the IT,
automotive and consumer package goods industries. She received a
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from the University of Cincinnati.
Carolyn Hyde, Vice President of
Sales Carolyn
Hyde brings over 20 years of successful IT sales and support
leadership experience to the Government Acquisitions team. Ms.
Hyde directs the company’s Treasury/IRS business unit as well as
focuses on assessing potential new government clients who could
benefit from Government Acquisitions’ world class IT solutions
architecture, integration and support services.
Most recently prior to joining the Government Acquisitions team,
Ms. Hyde led worldwide sales and support organizations for two
venture backed, Silicon Valley based start-ups in the storage
solutions space. Previous to that, she was the Vice President and
General Manager of StorageTek Public Sector, Senior Vice President
of Worldwide Sales and Marketing for SER Solutions, and held
significant sales leadership roles at EMC Federal and Oracle
Federal. Ms. Hyde holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of
Maryland, and was recognized as a 2007 Stevie Awards Finalist for
Women in Business; Best Executive.
Stan Jones, Vice President of Accounting and Finance Stan Jones brings over 25 years of accounting and financial management experience accumulated primarily in the supply chain industry. As Vice President of Accounting/Finance Mr. Jones is responsible for all aspects of finance, accounting and reporting functions of Government Acquisitions. In addition to his accounting expertise, he has extensive experience in financial and operating systems implementation and development and will be focusing on improving the efficiency of the financial processes and systems.
Prior to joining Government Acquisitions Mr. Jones spent 17 years with DHL, a leading global supply chain provider, serving in variety of roles within the business including Director of Finance and Controller.
He received his Bachelors Degree in Accounting from The Ohio State University and holds the CPA and CMA certifications. He is a member of AICPA, IMA and the Ohio CPA Society.
